How it Works

Utilizing electric power lines for broadband data communications is known as Broadband over Power line communications (BPL). CopperRoad’s BPL technology combines hardware, software, protocols, and modulation techniques to enhance and stabilize communications across the power line. Our system leverages the latest in BPL technologies and deploys FCC approved equipment to provide high-speed Internet service to electric utility customers via their 115V electrical outlets.
